After graduating from UNC-CH in 1987 with a degree in Mathematical Sciences, Chip worked for 10 years at Microsoft Corp. in Redmond, WA primarily as a developer on the Windows team. Chip founded StockCharts.com, Inc. in 1999 and has worked hard to turn it into one of the top technical analysis websites in the world.
